Radiant Power of Women: Heart to Heart ~ Creating Connection This is the first time we are offering Radiant Power of Women in Santa Monica, CA. When we first started talking about where we wanted to bring women together to share this experience we thought exotic: Mexico, Greece, beach, sun, sand… and then we realized that we live in one of the most exotic and spiritually rich places already, Santa Monica! We decided to go no further… We have a beautiful studio by the sea and why not just gather here! Why not build a local tribe of sisters right here in our own community! Read More

May Numerology Forecast

The month of May requires a new level of game to navigate successfully. Any place in our lives which has been resistant to change and evolution will feel challenged. There will be the tendency to expect others to shift their priorities to match our own, and yet, they may be expecting the same of you. Read More

I started sweating as soon as I heard this…(on how to do impossible things), by Sally Hope (GB Teacher Trainee)

It was right after our two hour lunch and I heard some grumblings with some of the Master Kundalini Teacher Trainers. It was more of a passing comment than a whisper, she was definitely not trying to keep it a secret. But what I heard sent me into a bit of a sweat and a slight panic. These words might not mean that much to you (yet), but to me, I KNEW what was just around the corner when I heard “62 minutes of Sat Kriya.” Read More

I Created ‘Grief Yoga’ Because the Body Remembers the Pain We’ve Felt, By Paul Denniston

“Men don’t cry, toughen up and be strong.” As a shy kid growing up in Southern Texas, I was taught that sadness was a sign of weakness. I never felt like I fit in. I would isolate myself from others. That disconnection happened socially, but also physically too. I began to overeat and drown my feelings. I avoided gym class for the fear of being ridiculed. Read More

“Be careful what you pray for, because it just might come true,” could be the motto for the month of April. Our words have an amplified power of potency at this time, and this power can be used for better or worse. Read More

On organized life – what does it have to do with Yoga and Meditation? by Rainer Perry

Is there a constant mess somewhere in your life that needs serious cleaning? In your professional life? Is it the way you handle your tasks and priorities, your electronic files, a feeling that you are always late or wasting time? In your relationships or financial world? Or is it more physical: in your living room, your closet, or under the sink? Read More

The Animal Within, by Jarrod Mayer

My wife, Melody, and I have been on an interesting path. Our road to Kundalini Yoga began through a survival training in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey about five years ago. This training taught us how to live in any environment, in any part of the world, at any time of the year. It showed us how to track animals, make fire, use primitive cooking techniques, find wild edibles, tan hides, flint arrowheads, and much more. We were even taught how to understand the emotional state of an animal by the track that it left in the earth. Read More

The Art of Commitment, by Hari Simran

“Commitment will give you character; character will give you divinity; divinity will give you dignity; dignity will give you grace; grace will give you power to sacrifice; power to sacrifice will give you happiness.” Yogi Bhajan’s 7 laws of happiness. The first step to these 7 laws of happiness is Commitment, and perhaps the most challenging of all; it is the only step in which a conscious decision has to be made using self discipline and patience. Once there is a commitment and a consistent practice, the last 6 steps will follow and serve you. Read More

There is a prevailing wind that is driving a singular question this month, and that question is, “Will I be creative, or will I be angry?” The number 3 of March, in the positive polarity, embodies the themes of joy, creativity, and an expansive social energy. Inspiration as a Mother, Teacher and Student-The Khalsa Way Prenatal Teacher Traning, by Jennifer Marcaccini

I'm feeling so inspired after teaching and assisting in the Khalsa Way Prenatal program in January at Golden Bridge Yoga Santa Monica. It was humbling to serve, connect and just be part of this beautiful community led by Gurmukh and Sarah Kamrath. What a juicy experience it was to be surrounded by women who were learning, growing and evolving to the best version of themselves. I was reminded about our peaceful power. It is our inner strength that allows us to win the war before the battle. Ladies, we must take pause and connect daily to this strength. Our knowing is our power. Our strength is our ability to know what is best for our bodies, our births, our children and our families. Read More
