Sept 19-28 Peru Sacred Kora Autumnal Equinox
In times of transition like those in the current world, where uncertainty rules and nothing seems to connect, performing Kora or pilgrimage around a Sacred Mountain allows us to reconnect with something deep within us.
For me this adventure was about Challenge and Kindness. The days were a Gift from God... going up up up, then down down down, then up up up, then down down down... sometimes 10 hours a day.
One friend said to me, “You went on a trek!” No we went on a Spiritual Pilgrimage around a Mountain, which was not about getting somewhere. It was about being somewhere. It was Life in an 8-day capsule. I have not been in that experience before... except perhaps during labor!
Yes, the Kora was the hardest thing I ever did. I would do the Kora again, for sure. Why? Oh, why? Something amazing about the Kora... it helped my mind
After completing the kora to Peru last year, we decided to do it again. It was off the charts. It is 9 days this coming September. Some of the days will be hours of walking. Some less. One day in the middle we will not move but stay in camp for meditation. We will be gratefully joined by Ven. Khenpo Samdup, student of His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche. Together we will gather. We can bring 8. Khenpo will bring 8. To qualify, you must have an interview with Norm the head guide. He will need to know your strength and experience. It is a privilege and honor to get to go. As the months went on after our return, I realized it was a benchmark in my spiritual life. And our prayer is to share it with others, maybe you.

Our guides will be the ancient Q'ero indigenous people who have managed to preserve and update a very ancient conversation with the natural and divine world over time. A memory extremely important today, which during our pilgrimage we will discover at each step, integrating it into our essence, transforming our perception and relation with life, being able to reconnect with its purest essence to remember how it is that we as humans can walk the path of life in beauty with a smiling heart.
